ESSENTIAL PRECAUTIONS

Never use Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware on high heat. Food will burn. The triple-ply construction of this cookware is highly conductive and efficient for quick, even heat distribution. We recommend using a low to medium setting for most cooking. To boil water, medium-high is sufficient. Never leave Copper Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware or any pan empty over a hot burner. Doing so can ruin the pan and cause damage to the stove top.

BEFORE USING

Please wash your new cookware in hot water with a mild soap or dish detergent before using for the first time. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry immediately with a soft dish towel.

EASY MAINTENANCE

Immediately after each use, fill the pan with hot water and liquid dish detergent; let stand until lukewarm. Use a sponge or soft cloth to remove any remaining food particles. Do not use steel wool or other coarse metal pads that may make scratches. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately for a flawless finish. Copper Tri-Ply Stainless features oven-safe handles that can withstand oven temperatures up to 500°F. Caution should be used when handling any cookware handles and we recommend the use of potholders. To maintain the copper's luster, use either a metal polish or homemade mixture of ½ cup white vinegar, ¼ cup table salt, and ¼ cup scouring powder. Rub the mixture over the copper with a cloth or nonabrasive scrubber, and rinse clean with hot water. Never use cleaners containing bleach to clean copper cookware.

WHAT ABOUT THE DISHWASHER?

We do not recommend Copper Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware be cleaned in the dishwasher. The abrasive cleaning agent will scratch and discolor the copper exterior. The stainless steel covers are dishwasher safe and will return to a mirror shine. Over a long period of time however, regular dishwasher cleaning may scratch the covers. We recommend using a non-lemon detergent.
